What a great start to the year we have had at the Black Horse.
AJ has been cooking up a storm in the kitchen, with a whole range of ever-changing specials alongside our core menu with plenty of home-made pub classics.
The pub has had a makeover with a much-needed coat of paint and some new chairs, as well as the usual summer flowers outside!
So, if you haven’t popped in for a drink recently, come and check out our beer garden in the summer sun, or join us to watch Sky Sports inside the pub!
Thank you to all the people who joined us to celebrate the Queen’s Jubilee. We definitely enjoyed the live music and BBQ, and hope all of those who joined us did too!
We enjoy the company of the Over 50’s Pub Lunch on the first Tuesday of the month. All are welcome so if you are interested in joining, please see contact details at the back of the Hallmark.
We are looking forward to a busy summer with our Beer and Gin Festival on the 19th-21st of August! There will be live music throughout the weekend, with 12 real ales and a wide range of flavoured gins on offer. AJ will have a range of American diner food on Friday night and street food on the Saturday night with Paella!
If you can’t make that then there will be a range of other events happening over the summer. These include live music, a tabletop sale and more! Keep an eye on our Facebook page and website for the latest information!
We are excited to see the Crib and Dominoes League restarting soon on a Monday evening. If you are interested in getting involved, please don’t hesitate to get in touch!
